This indicates you are being disqualified from Online Dispute Resolution for answering one of the qualifying questions with "Yes" –
Example Questions:
1. Has there been a history of domestic violence in your relationship?
2. Has there ever been a restraining issued to protect your from (other party)?
3. Has there ever been a restraining order issued to protect (the other party) from you?
4. Have the police or other law enforcement been involved with you or the child or children and (other party) due to domestic violence?
5. Has the DCFS or any child protective services agency investigated claims of abuse/neglect directed to a parent of a child involved in this case and found any such claims were substantiated?
6. Has there been a case opened in a Juvenile Court within the last 10 years involving any of the child or children of this case?
If you have answered yes to any of the above questions you will receive a notice that you have been removed from mediation and will have to find other means of resolution. Please contact the court for further assistance.
